We provide fine piano tuning, as well as pitch raise and fine tuning. We utilize both aural and electronic techniques to provide fine tunings.
A fine piano tuning is for any piano that is regularly tuned, and is within 10 cents of pitch (pitch is being defined here as A4 registering at 440hz).
A pitch raise/lower is for any piano more than 10 cents sharp/flat. A pitch alteration is required to create a more stable tuning for the piano.

If your piano keys have a great deal of movement side to side, or do not seem to be aligned both vertically and horizontally, this can greatly affect the control that you have while playing. We have experience handling key alignments and adjustments, and know just how important it is for the keys to both feel and look great.

Action Regulation is performed to improve the playability of your piano. All pianos need regulation throughout their life in order to play the best. Over 1,000 adjustments are made in order to bring the mechanism to optimum performance. If your piano simply does not play with the touch and response that you expect, perhaps action regulation is needed. We can assess your piano's need for regulation at no charge, during a scheduled piano tuning.

Dust can greatly affect the performance and sound of your piano. It is recommended to have your piano cleaned approximately once a year, especially if you regularly leave your keys uncovered, or your lid open. This can be scheduled at the same time as a piano tuning. We'll clean the inside of your piano, and polish the outside. Contact us with any questions about cleaning your piano.
